#1- Inca Trail Express: 2 days/1 night

Take the train part way to Machu Picchu. At Km 104, you start hiking to the Chachabamba site, and then on a four hour ascent to Winay Wayna, an important spiritual site. You follow the Inca trail across the ridge above Machu Picchu to Intipunku, the "Door of the Sun". From there the trail winds downhill with a panoramic vista into the lost citadel of Machu Picchu and the Urubamba Valley river. Overnight in Aguas Calientes. Minimum 2 people.

AMAZON: PUERTO MALDONADO

Travel through this endless emerald jungle by boat. Fly from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado. Roads are almost non-existent. You will navigate the waterways of the Amazon and its tributaries to the sound of the rustling of monkeys and other creatures moving around under the lush canopy. Canoeing will give you the opportunity to see bird and water life in the Amazon, as well as the amazing variety of flora and fauna. Jungle walks will enable you to see the colors and life under the canopy. Tribal village visits are sometimes included.
