Explore the highlights of Vietnam and Cambodia with a focus on the many wonderful arts of Indochina, as well as opportunities to connect with locals.
Day 1: Depart from LAX, SFO or HOU.
Day 2: Day lost on the International Dateline.
Day 3: Arrive in Singapore.
Day 4: Free day in Singapore.
Day 5: Arrive in Hanoi.
Day 6: City tour with visit to Ho Chi Minh's residence, the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, and an evening water puppet show.
Day 7: Drive to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise.
Day 8: Enjoy Halong Bay before flying to the old imperial capital of Hue.
Day 9: Vietnamese cooking class and visit to the Imperial Citadel. Afternoon visit to local schools.
Day 10: Head to Hoi An with a stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum, which focuses on the art of the ancient Cham civilization.
Day 11: Lantern-making workshop and walking tour of Hoi An. Visit a local rice farm to learn how rice is planted and enjoy an authentic Vietnamese lunch.
Day 12: Fly to Saigon and take a city tour.
Day 13: Visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Day 14: Mekong Delta tour to learn about life along this mighty river.
Day 15: Fly to Siem Reap. Visit the temple of Angkor Thom.
Day 16: Exploring the ancient temples of Cambodia, including Bantey Srei, Ta Phrom, finally, the stunning Angkor Wat.
Day 17: Fly to Phnom Penh and visit the former royal palace and the National Museum on a city tour.
Day 18: Return home.
