ITINERARY

Day One:

Arrive in Hanoi

Upon arrival, meet with your guide and transfer to the Mercure Hotel Hanoi.

Day Two

Hanoi Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel.

Start the morning with a half day city tour of Hanoi. Walk along the Ba Dinh Square, where you can see some of Hanoi's most important government buildings such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and more. Continue onto the Quan Thanh Taoist Temple, the Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda and the iconic Confucian Temple of Literature before walking around the Old Quarter.

The rest of the afternoon is free, and optional tours are available for an extra cost.

Day Three

Halong Bay

Breakfast at the hotel.

 

Drive to Halong Bay and embark on an overnight cruise on a traditional junk boat around the scenic bay with its towering limestone islands. Stop at several famous caves and other spots. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board.

Day Four

Train to Hue

In the morning, continue the cruise around Halong Bay with a delicious brunch on board the junk. Upon disembarkation, drive back to Hanoi for your overnight train to Hue (flight to Hue available upon request).

Day Five

Arrive in Hue

Upon arrival in Hue, visit the Hue Citadel and the Royal Antique Museum before enjoying brunch at a local restaurant.

Day Six

Hoi An

Breakfast at the hotel.

Drive to Hoi An with a stop to cruise along the Huong River and visit the Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue on to Hoi An's Ancient Town and take a walking tour exploring an ancient merchant's house, the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the vibrant riverside market.

Day Seven

Hoi An

Breakfast at the hotel.

Day free to relax and explore Hoi An. Optional tours are available upon request.

Day Eight

Arrive in Saigon

Breakfast at the hotel.

Drive to Danang for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon, transfer to the Muong Thanh Grand Saigon Centre Hotel.

Optional tours are available in Hoi An or Saigon, depending on the timing of the flight.

Day Nine

Saigon Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, take a tour of Ho Chi Minh City, including the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, Chinatown, Binh Tay Market, and the Thien Hau Temple.

The afternoon is free to rest and explore more of Saigon. Optional tours are available on request.

Return Home

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
