DAY 1
Transfer from Saigon to the port of My Tho, where you will board your ship. Enjoy lunch on board before heading out on a sampan boat through the mangroves and bamboo forests to see the fruit orchards of Ben Tre, an area rich in birdlife. From there, take the canals to a village that makes products from what is grown in the area.
Dinner and Vietnamese traditional dance performance on board the ship.
DAY 2
Spend the morning sailing through the Mekong Delta, watching local life as it passes by. After lunch, head ashore to Con Phuoc Island to visit local craftspeople and try bamboo weaving. Then take a tuktuk drive through the village and stop at a 100 year-old church. Return to the boat for dinner.
DAY 3
Visit floating fish farms in Chau Doc, then visit the Chham Village to see how this ethnic, Islam-practicing tribe lives. From there take vans to Sam Mountain to see the Hang Pagoda. Upon returning to the ship and sailing out of the canals, drop anchor on the Vietnam/Cambodia border while undergoing immigration formalities.
